This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not do with Aventran. It supplements our Terms of Service. Violations can result in suspension or termination of your account.
Real estate compliance
- Comply with the federal Fair Housing Act and state equivalents. Do not use Aventran to discriminate, steer, or refuse service based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, source of income, or any other protected class.
- Maintain a valid US real estate license in every state where you market listings, and follow each state's advertising and disclosure rules.
- Represent properties truthfully. Do not direct the assistant to make false statements about availability, price, condition, or financing.
Messaging compliance
- Only message contacts who have given prior express consent under the TCPA (or equivalent state law where stricter). Do not import scraped contact lists.
- Honor opt-out replies (STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE) immediately and permanently for that channel.
- Respect federal and state Do-Not-Call registries, including state-specific calling-time windows.
- Identify the brokerage you represent in the first message of every conversation, as required by CAN-SPAM and most state messaging laws.
Security and integrity
- Do not attempt to access another customer's account, data, or workspace.
- Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service except under a written authorization for coordinated disclosure (security@aventran.com).
- Do not interfere with the service through denial-of-service traffic, automated scraping, or abusive API use.
Prohibited content
- Illegal activity, including the marketing of properties used or intended for illegal purposes.
- Harassing, threatening, hateful, or sexually explicit content directed at end users.
- Misrepresenting the assistant as a human when an end user sincerely asks. Disclose that they're chatting with an automated assistant on first request.
Reporting violations
If you believe another customer is violating this AUP, or if you received a message you believe was sent in violation of this policy, email abuse@aventran.com with the relevant details. We investigate every report and respond within 5 business days.
